Pool & Spa barrier inspection and certification
Establish applicable Australian Standard and construction date
First we establish the relevant Australian Standard to apply to your pool or spa barrier. This Australian Standard is determined by your local council based on the construction date which is also determined by the council. Amongst your registration documentation, the council will have provided an Australian Standard which will look like: AS1926.1-2012 and also an exact construction date. This is important information that our Inspector will need prior to the inspection.
60 days to rectify any non-compliant items
Our Inspector will carry out an inspection and provide you with a photographic report that outlines any non-compliant items. There will also be suggestions as how to rectify any non-compliant items.
No re-inspection fee
We know how frustrating it can be to have to pay re-inspection fees, so we have waived this fee and will re-inspect for free.
No hidden certification fee
Some inspectors charge a separate fee for supplying the Certificate of Barrier Compliance (form 23). We know how annoying this is, so we have included this in our fixed fee of $279.00 inc GST.
On-going support
Our Inspector is always available to discuss any concerns that you may have with anything outlined in the report at any time. We are also happy to discuss any changes that you are thinking of making to your barrier.
